Uprising Outdoor Adventure Center Inc., is located on the grounds of Oasis Water Park in Palm Springs. Uprising is open during all seasons and boasts the only outdoor rock-climbing center in the country. Uprising has educational programs for those ages 6 to 96. Along with a world-class, beginner rock-climbing school, Uprising also offers guided rock-climbing and hiking adventures to Joshua Tree National Park through its guide service, Uprising Adventure Guides Inc. It also offers bicycle rentals, retail equipment and clothing from its pro shop.
Their friendly and professional staff specialize in beginner instruction and have taught more than 40,000 beginners to climb in a controlled, safe and fun environment. With a variety of programs to choose from, you are guaranteed to find something to suit your needs. Starting with beginner programs for kids 6 and up, Uprising is the perfect place to bring the family for an experience they will never forget.
